“The reason that people come to St. Luke’s is really because we have so many options and so many other specialists that allow us to really do the best job at taking care of orthopedic oncology patients.”

Bone and muscle cancers are relatively rare but I chose that specialty because it often affects young people and is very treatable in the majority of cases. New treatment innovations now allow us to even replace and reconstruct cancerous bones and muscles rather than removing them like we needed to do in the past.
The most impressive thing St. Luke’s offers our team is the sheer volume of oncology we see – more than any other system in Wisconsin. That volume of experience together with the collaborative treatment we can offer through our unique multi-disciplinary clinic allows us to provide a variety of the latest options to all our patients.
